70 Mile House is located about 50 kilometres (31 miles) south of 100 Mile House at the junction of the Green Lake Road and Highway 97. This community provides basic services to the residents of Green Lake, Watch Lake, and adjacent area. Green Lake/Watch Lake is a large recreation area just east of 70 Mile House. The lakes attract visitors who enjoy fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities. Green Lake has five Provincial Park sites.
